The Castle Lodge was built in the Edwardian era and has been established as a small hotel for a considerable period. Whilst care has been taken to retain many of the original features, it now provides comfortable and attractive accommodation for guests to relax and enjoy their stay.

The Castle Lodge is very spacious and pleasantly appointed. A large elegant reception area leads to the comfortable south-facing lounge where guests can relax at any time of the day, or in winter time enjoy the real coal fire.

Given the prestigious silver award for the quality of the accommodation and public rooms, this 10 bedroom hotel has been owned and run by John and Margaret Dugdall with the help of their dedicated staff for 20 years.

South-facing, close to the beach and the award winning Spa Gardens, Castle Lodge is but a short walk from the town's main shopping centre. We are the nearest accommodation provider to the Spa Pavilion Theatre and Felixstowe Tennis Club.
